I was so thrilled when Alpro invited me for one of the best festival in the World – Tomorrowland! I’m always trying to eat healthy and Alpro is my perfect partner in crime for that breakfast-wise! The Coconut milk is my absolute favorite. I had loads of their coconut cappuccino at their breakfast bar in Dreamville. So first things first, after arriving at Dreamville and dropping off our stuff we went straight to the Alpro breakfast bar where they served the most delicious pancakes and soy bowls ever! I had the one with chocolate and strawberries and it was to die for. To be honest, when I got home on monday, post-TML – I was missing my Alpro breakfast, I’m definitely hooked for their soy bowls!
Put everything in place for the perfect Alpro Breakfast picture…
After breakfast we had an appointment with M.A.C for our make-up. I chose the gold look and asked if they wanted to add some blue mascara. I’m not a fan of blue eyeshadow but the blue mascara is a great finishing touch if you ask me!
Ready for day 2! Elke and I started by running in between the rain drops on our way to another perfect Alpro breakfast. We were so hungry and determined for those pancakes and we made it!
Finally, my first post in 2017 is a fact! I found the time to shoot some outfits with my mom last weekend and she’s getting good at it too actually, who knew?! She’s also going to take up photography lessons. I’m super excited because I’m going to do more shoots which means more content on the blog! I’m a big fan of wearing light and soft colours during winter but my mom always says that it’s too cold outside when I’m wearing white or beige… It’s not really relevant though since it’s the fabric that determents if you freeze to death. But thanks mom! I’m in love with the shape, fabric and fit of this coat. That’s why I also have it in black and maybe some other colours soon (you can never have too many coats)… It’s classy yet comfy and the only thing keeping me warm these days! Keep your eyes on the blog because I’m sharing some news real soon!
Last saturday M.A.C Cosmetics took it to the next level with their new Holiday collection in theme of the Nutcracker. It was a full house in the M.A.C Cosmetics store in Brussels and I could really feel the Christmas vibe. The sight of these beautiful packaged products and bright colors were amazing. What makes this collection so special is that there are different kits available like for example the eye shadow palette I chose, a handy brush kit or the perfect shades of festive lipsticks. The ideal Christmas gift if you ask me! I had an amazing time with the wonderful Emma Gelaude meeting new people and getting our faces dolled up with the new collection! What’s your favourite product? Check out the candy coated gift guide here.
These are my favorite items : The nutcracker Eye shadow palette called ‘sweet smokey eye compac‘ in bronze colors because I think it matches best with my skin tone and it’s ideal for my everyday make-up look. Next in line is the highlighter because I love to highlight all the good things in life, including my cheekbones.
Bloggers always have to be on top of the latest trends.. Or that’s what I hear. I’m not wearing clothes because it’s a trend but because I like them and they suit me. However I’m totally digging this sweatpants trend! To be honest I was looking for a new kind of pants (we’ve had the culottes and the ripped jeans) that could brighten up my outfit. I saw these last week and bought them in different colors. Comfy and sporty in this post but I’m also wearing them with heels for more classy occasions. To be honest, I wasn’t planning on taking pictures that day because I wasn’t feeling well and I thought my outfit wasn’t that special but hey, we don’t always have to look like we’re on a runway right?!
Hi guys, as you know the big B&&B event is coming up this weekend from the 2nd till the 4th of September! I’ll be joining the B&&B team in Berlin for a full experience provided by Zalando. I’m so excited to hear all the different visions of the brands and what the future of fashion will bring us. I got the opportunity to interview Eastpak a.k.a. the brand that got me through middle school. I’m not the only one who’s in possession of an iconic Eastpack backpack right? I’ve worn it all through middle school, it was the only way!
It’s still a brand I like to keep my eye on because they do so many interesting collaborations. The brand has been inspiring people for over 40 years. Eastpak will be introducing their limited edition ‘Spirit of 76’ Padded Pak’r® at the festival as well as they’ll be sharing their authentic American vibes. It’s no surprise that their Bread&Butter Booth will be inspired by their American heritage while they’ll also show highlights from their latest collection.
So what can you expect from their celebration and attendance to B&&B? I was pleased to hear they’ll treat us to live customization sessions by well-known street artists like Klub 7, Superblast, and Good Wives and Warriors. Not only is this live but you also have a chance to win one of these unique customized bags. ‘Customization’ is the new ‘limited edition’. It’s even more unique because it captures a moment created by an artist on a specific item. There’re never two identical pieces so that’s why you should definitely pay a visit to their booth! And off course that’s all happening while holding a drink in one hand and a snack in the other. I hope to see you all there so we can immortalize the moment in the photobooth.
Hi guys, this is my first 2016 blogpost and it’s a good one if I say so myself. A new year, a new editorial.
ANDROGYN – Having both male and female characteristics (appearance) that it becomes a challenge for one to decipher what sex that person is.
The feeling when you don’t want to fit in just one role… Male or female it doesn’t matter, it’s about expressing yourself in your own way. I don’t really look like a guy however I like dressing up in their clothes. It makes me feel strong and powerful but at the same time I like being really feminine as well. That’s why I don’t want to define my style in only one way. Fashion isn’t black or white, it’s a grey zone and there are always more things possible then you know. I don’t want to get bored in life and even changing my hair or look is a way to feel new and alive again. My New Year’s resolution and advice to you is this : keep pushing yourself to try out new things and don’t be afraid of the grey zone. This shoot was a collaboration with the amazing blogger/stylist Deborah Gebruers and photographer Elien Jansen, hair & make-up by me. The idea was to show our male and female side by only changing little details and see how the attitude changes. How about you, do you have a (fe)male side?
I love working with people that are very ambitious and have the same will power I’d like to think I have! The girl and friend who took these pictures is very talented and is currently based in London. I look forward working with her again very soon! Check her work out here.
When you have an job interview or verbal exams you want to dress up to make a good first impression right!? You want to look classy but not overdressed. If I had a job interview I would wear this look (depending on what job I would apply for off course but probably something in Fashion). A white shirt is always a good choice and since this one is longer as usual I’m wearing it with a leather legging. This coat is also one of my favorite items hanging in my closet. It works in every look (classy, streetstyle, casual,…)! Thanks to Sacha & The Fashion FolioI am able to spend my winter in these beautiful black leather comfy boots that are to die for! Big Thanks!!
