The first thing I always do before applying make-up is put on a good layer of day cream. I used the AVENE Cleanance Hydra, perfect for dry winter skin. When you don’t have a perfect skin (and who has?) you can use the DIOR Dream skin for covering the red spots. It feels really soft and has a powdery structure. For more color and cover I applied the MAC studio fix fluid NC30. I’ve been using it for years and still am a very satisfied customer!
To make sure your face doesn’t shine after a few hours I use the MAC Studio Fix NC25. The color is lighter then the foundation but you don’t want to look orange now do you? To finish the face I add a little blush. I used MAC medium deep combined with the CHANEL blush. Don’t exaggerate though, it still has to look natural.
We all want to have brows like Cara Delvigne and with a little help we can! I always use the MAC spiked pencil. No powders or gels needed. Sometimes I do spray a little hairspray on my eyebrow brush and comb my brows with it for longer hold.
When you want your eyeshadow to last all day (and night) you definitely need to put on a basis underneath. I used the MAC pro longwear paint pot/painterly. Then I applied the eyeshadows – in the corner of her eye MAC all that glitter / middle MAC haux / end and underneath MAC corduroy . Make sure you blend them out smoothly. No eyeliner needed in this look. Finish it off with MAC zoom fast black lash mascara and you’re done!
Not quite yet… The eyes are perfect for during the day and even at night but if you want a little extra you can always put on a lipstick for more color. I like to put on lipstick even for casual looks. You just have to find the right color and you’re good to go! If you go with matt I find the lipstick holds longer.
The color I’ve used for Yael is MAC matte ruby woo with the MAC cherry and MAC vino lipliners. Make sure your lipliner has a sharp enough point and for some people it is more easy to apply the lipstick with a pencil. What do you think?
