My daily beauty routine.

Hi guys, in this blogpost I’ll reveil my daily day beauty routine. Over the years I’ve switched a lot between products and brands because of my bad skin. It’s also a big difference in between seasons so I’m always looking for new and improved products that are just right for my type of skin. Although I change between products, I always use the make-up removal wipes for face and eyes from Demak-up. The quality is excellent because I don’t like it when the surface is too rough, it damages the skin.

The brand I’ve been working with these days is Shiseido, it was a tip from a friend and I have to say I’m very satisfied. I have an oily T-zone but the rest of my face is usually too dry so this formula is perfect for both skintypes.

  1. I wash my face with the cleansing fluid by Shiseido. I use a wet wipe to remove the foam.

2. After cleaning my face I use the alcohol free, balancing softener lotion also by Shiseido. It’s one of my favorite products because it feels so fresh and gives my skin a glowy touch.

3. My day- and nightcream are the same. I use the quick matte moisturizer on an oil-free base. It’s hydratant and matifiant at the same time so it prevents my skin from glowing too much and gives it a matifant finishing touch. Now I put on my make-up  and I can start my day the right way!!

4. At night I also add a little eye cream from Caudalie because I believe you have to start early with the different creams ;). This cream is very refreshing and perfect for the dark circles under my eyes after another sleepless night… When I feel a pimple or something uneven coming up I put on the pureness blemish targeting gel by Shiseido. Only at night though and you have to be carefull not to put it on an open wound. It’s a very efficient product!

Thanks for reading this post and I hope you guys learned something. Happy Thursday!

MAC cosmetics #1

The first thing I always do before applying make-up is put on a good layer of day cream. I used the AVENE Cleanance Hydraperfect for dry winter skin. When you don’t have a perfect skin (and who has?)  you can use the DIOR Dream skin for covering the red spots. It feels really soft and has a powdery structure. For more color and cover I applied the MAC studio fix fluid NC30. I’ve been using it for years and still am a very satisfied customer!

To make sure your face doesn’t shine after a few hours I use the  MAC Studio Fix NC25. The color is lighter then the foundation but you don’t want to look orange now do you?  To finish the face I add a little blush. I used  MAC medium deep  combined with the CHANEL blush. Don’t exaggerate though, it still has to look natural.

We all want to have brows like Cara Delvigne and with a little help we can! I always use the MAC spiked pencil. No powders or gels needed. Sometimes I do spray a little hairspray on my eyebrow brush and comb my brows with it for longer hold.
When you want your eyeshadow to last all day (and night) you definitely need to put on a basis underneath. I used the MAC pro longwear paint pot/painterly. Then I applied the eyeshadows – in the corner of her eye MAC all that glitter / middle MAC haux / end and underneath MAC corduroy . Make sure you blend them out smoothly.  No eyeliner needed in this look. Finish it off with MAC zoom fast black lash mascara and you’re done!

Not quite  yet… The eyes are perfect for during the day and even at night but if you want a little extra you can always put on a lipstick for more color. I like to put on lipstick even for casual looks. You just have to find the right color and you’re good to go! If you go with matt I find the lipstick holds longer.
The color I’ve used for Yael is MAC matte ruby woo with the MAC cherry and MAC vino lipliners. Make sure your lipliner has a sharp enough point and for some people it is more easy to apply the lipstick with a pencil. What do you think?

Special thanks to this gorgeous lady and one of my close friends Yael Vermunt!

dior beauty – event

Thanks to Noemie and Belmodo I had my first beauty experience at the Dior beautyschool.  10 girls learning how to apply dior products the right way. First Sylvia and Patrizia showed us step by step what to do and then we would try it on ourselves. Harder then it sounds! After sweat and tears we all had our personal trianon look.

And now my favourite product  of the evening –
Do you want a natural, flawless and mat skin? Capture Totale Dreamskin is what you need. As if we weren’t lucky enough, there was also a dreamskin in our goodiebag! To finish this lovely evening we had a glass of champagne and got to know each other.
