Finally, my first post in 2017 is a fact! I found the time to shoot some outfits with my mom last weekend and she’s getting good at it too actually, who knew?! She’s also going to take up photography lessons. I’m super excited because I’m going to do more shoots which means more content on the blog! I’m a big fan of wearing light and soft colours during winter but my mom always says that it’s too cold outside when I’m wearing white or beige… It’s not really relevant though since it’s the fabric that determents if you freeze to death. But thanks mom! I’m in love with the shape, fabric and fit of this coat. That’s why I also have it in black and maybe some other colours soon (you can never have too many coats)… It’s classy yet comfy and the only thing keeping me warm these days! Keep your eyes on the blog because I’m sharing some news real soon!
I’m wearing :
There’s a new JD Sports store in town! And this time I’m not talking about Antwerp, I’m talking about Brussels. During the opening there were so many people and so much to see. I got this full look, head to toe, from the brands Hype, Adidas and Nike. What do you think? It took me a little by surprise to see how extensive their offer is. The collections aren’t the typical ones you’ve seen a thousand times. Like I already said, I’m wearing Hype Patch Fleece Pants and Hype Crop Sweatshirt. I was going for the full beige look at first because I like the one-color-suits but this orange(-brownish) color was a better match with my skin. The Nike cap is a classic item you just have to have. I wear it whenever I have a bad hair day (which is a lot these days) or just when it rains (also a lot..). I’ve wanted these Adidas Originals Gazelle sneakers for a while but could never decide over the color. Baby blue it is!
I’m also wearing the Denim Truckerjacket by Tommy Hilfiger – from the Tommy Jeans collection. You can find it here.
These picture are taken by the lovely Billie Gielen! We had a great time and I’m sure this isn’t the last time we’ll work together!
You can’t go to Paris and don’t take a picture at the Louvre right? Even if it’s a touristic place I still love it. It’s the place to be to spot the fashion people during fashion week. It’s also close to Les Tuileries where a lot of fashion shows are held. I find it such an inspiring event that motivates me to work even harder to eventually find my way in this world.
Being a sneaker freak doesn’t mean I don’t love wearing classis boots from time to time. I’ve noticed that my style is changing again and it’s because of the season changes. During Autumn/winter my style becomes more classic and minimalistic. Do you like my faux fur multi colored fluff bag? It’s like my little pet!

Hi guys, here’s my full #BREADANDBUTTER16 report. As you may know (or spotted on snapchat/instagram) I visited Berlin last weekend for the Bread and Butter festival. I was invited by Zalando with my fellow European bloggers & influencers to explore the different brands at B&&B, sit front row at the fashion shows (Topshop, Puma, Zalando,…) meet Gigi Hadid and shoot in the streets of Berlin. After landing on friday afternoon a delicous lunch was served by the zalando summer house where we were staying. Healthy and delicious, what more can a girl want? Thanks to the amano group I got to know some interesting new tastes 😉
After stuffing our faces we got ready for our meet and greet with the hottest it-girl, Gigi Hadid. She was promoting her new collection in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, available here. I’ve always been a big Gigi fan, she’s stunning in every way and it was an honor to meet her! When the moment arrived it all happened very quickly and I immediately turned into a sixteen year old fan girl ready to meet her big idol. My first words to her were ‘Hey, I’m sorry I’m a little sweaty‘. She replied ‘That fine, it’s hot in here‘. She’s so damn cool she replies with N.E.R.D lyrics… I think we’re best friends now. Like that’s not a crazy enough day, the night ended with an exclusive performance by A$AP Rocky. Not to spoil anything but I’m going to marry him, I said yes! Sorry girls, he’s mine
After a good night sleep (short but good) and another healthy breakfast we got ready to explore the streets of Berlin, the area called Mitte to be more specific. But not before we got our hair&make-up ready! Did I already mention they treated us like princesses? We were accompanied by a guide who told us all about the interesting facts of the beautiful Mitte like for example the old ballroom you can see in the pictures below. The pictures are taken with my Olympus pen Camera, a great new toy I can’t keep my hands off.
After our day in Mitte we were all invited for a fabulous rooftop dinner. The whole group was there and we got a chance to get to know one another while having burgers and cocktails! Off course everyone took the opportunity to shoot some streetstyle pictures. The golden hour is when the sun is a bit lower and the lighting is perfect. The night ended with some dancing at the boiler room. I have to say, the entire weekend was filled with amazing beats and I’m definitely going back to Berlin for a party weekend. Who’s with me?
Sunday was shooting day. The team did our hair and make-up and in the afternoon we all had our personal shoots with professional photographers. Mine was the Styleograph, a fashion photographer I’ve been following (on instagram off course) for a while now so it was an honor to work with him! In every picture I’m fully dressed by Zalando. It looks like they’re taking over my closet. I’m very gratefull I got to experience this amazing weekend with my girl Annabel pesant. We had the best time together and we’re definitely going on more adventures together!

This is the second part of my collaboration with Fish&Chips. They gave me carte blanche for the outfits and I went for casual meets tomboy. Basics like this Sherpa trucker jacket and superstar sneakers are a must have for everyone. Like shoes, I think headgear can also make your outfit! It’s not only the perfect solution for a bad hair day but a cap or hat can give your look just that little extra that you need.

Two weeks ago I got featured in the STREETSTYLE section of the first FLAIR of the year. They asked me to pick 3 different outfits I feel good in and share my style tips about why I wear them. Pictures by Jens Mollenvanger
The first look is about how to dress down this very fashionable statement skirt. The first time I wore it to go to a fashion party but I find it unfortunate to let the skirt die in my closet and figured it’s also cool with a cropped sweater, some comfy heels (with socks in) and a beanie. I also think it’s not up to winter to decide you can’t have bare legs. As long as you’re not cold, you wear what you want and with the ‘technique’ of layering everything is possible. (Btw underneath this outfit I’m also wearing a long sleeved Tshirt and a high waisted short but no one will ever know so shhh..)
I’m wearing :
Forever 21 cropped sweater
Zara midi skirt
River Island Sandals
American Apparel Beanie
‘Cool kid on the block‘ is the second look. The socks are what give the look some color even on a grey day. Although this suit pants shortens my legs a bit, it’s really comfy and I got over the short-leg thing, it is what it is. This is my version of a school uniform in the most casual way with a bit of attitude thanks to the Vintage black leather Perfecto.
The great thing about this jumpsuit is that you can wear it for both fancy and casual occasions. It’s strapless but with the right turtleneck you can wear it as pants and it also lengthens your legs. Wide trousers always do the trick for me, and when it’s a high waisted pants it works even better! I think hats bring more personality to a look and are the perfect solution for a bad hair day. Also the combination of black with some lighter colors like this cream shearling coat is a very classy choice if you ask me!
Every now and again I like to mix it up and approach different styles. This one is my (badass) alter ego. Everyone has different aspects in their personality and depending on what kind of person you are, it can come out in your style. I don’t look at it as if I have 2 or more styles because I think it’s pretty, it’s more a personality kind of thing. You can choose to show your different looks, inside and outside, that’s the beauty of fashion! This is part two of my wonderful collaboration with Photographer Morgane Gielen

Remember the trailerpark outfit from last week? This is another streetstyle collaboration I did for Elle. Black & white, always a win! Adidas socks in Nike sneakers, is that wrong? I’m all about Nike sneakers but Adidas keeps surprising me with their cool collaborations. Each collection is different en trumps the other one. I’m always curious who the next artist is going to be. Never boring and always my taste! Although I’m not keen on putting my legs out there, on days like these (when it’s like a hundred degrees) you don’t have a choice. I just got over myself and put on this cute high waist shorts that fits perfectly. The crop top probably looks familiar, it’s because I have it in every color and wear it all the time.
Enjoy your sundays!!
